I created this page because I love to chat with my friends in VP Chat. 

If you don't have the chat program, then you are a "guest" in chat, so you miss out on seeing the images people use to represent themselves (avatars) and the gestures that are played (you only see text written within brackets). Guests have avatars themselves, which are pictures of coffee mugs to those with the chat program. 

When people talk about "mugs" in a chat room, they are talking about the guests' avatars. Below are some helpful links so you can get established in VP Chat. 

The new release of VP chat is now available and this version is compatible with Internet Explorer 5. This is the version I've linked to on this page, so that everybody can use it ('everybody' includes Windows 95, 98 and NT users). This new Build 155 also includes voice chat - so get yourself a microphone!

Not only will you be able to get the chat program below, but you'll also find the best links to get yourself an avatar and get some gestures to use within the rooms. If you are using Netscape, you will lose many of the effects on this site. For example, you won't know that when you mouseover this text it gets larger and turns purple. Do yourself a favour and use Internet Explorer; the latest version can be downloaded from my second page. 

A lot of my pages use the Matisse ITC font. Click here to download it to your c:\windows\fonts directory. I use the Verdana font for everything else.  Click here to get it. 

My second page is aimed towards your personal web site and of course keeping your computer maintained and up to date so that your time on the net will be a better experience. By the way, if it seems you get a "script" error everywhere you go, it's time to update your browser.
